Sustainable development

Tartares.ch is commited to using a large panel of recyclable material. Most of our packaging material comes from natural material, made of residue from the production of sugar cane, palm tree leaves, wood, cellulose and starch. Our glasses are in PLA (Polylactid acid) which is a bioplastic coming from renewable vegetal plants. We therefore offer an ecological alternative to the use of plastic material and are actively participating in the protection of the environment by protecting the natural resources of petroleum. In spite of all our efforts, it remains a challenge to find an alternative to the use of plastic whith respect to vacuum bags. Indeed, we have not yet discovered a raw material that perfectly isolates products from surrounding air. With the label Friends of the Sea, our fish providers commit themselves to respect the survival and conservation of sea species and sea flora by choosing the appropriate fish.

Quality

We exert ourselves to select only the best products from our providers and to guarantee you an irreproachable quality. We also commit ourselves to work as often as possible with local products. All of our tartars are hand-cut at the last moment.

Freshness

The freshness of our products is one of our main concerns. We therefore establish a trustworthy relationship with our providers to obtain first choice goods.

Production mode and labels

Hygiene is another of our main concerns. The Boutique and Petit Salon, our tools and work place are cleaned and disinfected several times a day. We are tightly linked to different independent organisms of control such as Arqha , to which we regularly provide samples of our products and samples of our working surfaces so as to receive confirmation that our work is done in optimal conditions. We also collaborate with the company Hygiasept which provided us with a machine that disinfects the work place and surfaces by dry micro-diffusion. Our team follows strict instructions with regards to personal hygiene and every water spots are equipped with cleaning products and hand disinfecting soap provided by Ecolab .

Our employees

Our success rests on the competences and commitment of our employees. Our delivery men and other employees thefefore benefit from a training to better get acquainted with our environment. Our salary policy is based on the Convention Collective Nationale de Travail (CCNT), it is socially responsible.
